  • whats the name of the process when you edit a photo creating your own scenario by adding buildings, editing the streets and stuff? like in 1:06

  • @iaroma There are several techniques used in that type of shot ranging from matte painting for the background, and camera projections for the foreground elements. However, the overall technique would be called set replacement.

  • How much does it cost to get into Vancouver Film School, and does it require that you have a special set of skills ? and my last question are. Is this an education you can use afterwards or just like a course ?

  • @camfre4k Tuition costs vary depending on the specific program. VFS offers 13 different programs and the requirements also vary based on the program in which you're interested. The best thing to do would be to speak to an Advisor: vfs(dot)com/speak-to-advisor

  • VFS rocks! I got a question... I know your school uses Maya, XSI, Zbrush, etc... but what is the specific software used to paint those buildings to make it look war torn? Thank you!

  • @gunsntulips Most likely the student used Photoshop to paint the buildings. Hope that helps. Thanks!

  • @bouchandre I see you, man! :D

  • the hardest part in this video is the vehicle modeling and animation.

the rest of the scene is just with some masks and layers in different modes linked to some 3d tracking data.

  • @gunsntulips and compositing, we use The foundry Nuke

  • The title should be: a vfx masterpiece

  • @VancouverFilmSchool Thank you! That's what I suspected. You guys rock!
