CNN I-Report: Drag Me To Hell Movie Review By Rajiim Gross 5/26/09 Oh My Gosh......This Movie Trumps Angels and Demons! This film was Off the hook!! I love Scary/Suspense/Thriller films and I don't jump or cringe easily when watching them, I did in this film. This film has some really dark tones to it. You find out just how far one is willing to go to keep from going to hell! This film Stars Alison Lohman as Christine Brown who is a girl who's luck just plain sucks! She's trying to get that promotion she deserves but has the new guy after her job, she's trying to make a good impression on her boyfriends (Justin Long) family and show them that she not only loves him but that they should be together and she has this pain in her butt that won't go away......the curse of the Lamia that is placed on her because she does what her boss tells her to and makes a hard decision not to extend a loan that puts an old woman out on the streets. Christine tries with the help of her boyfriend Clay to fight off the curse but needs the help of spiritual advisers to reverse the curse placed upon her. She has 3 days to get rid of the cruse before the Lamia comes after her soul. There are so many in your face moments that make you jump out of your seat, moments that make you grab onto the person next to you. There were plenty of "Oh Yuck" moments as well. If You like This Genre of movie making then you will love Drag Me To Hell! I Give This Film an A+!! Go See It!

Don't Get ME Wrong....Not Saying Angels And Demons was a BAD Movie.....Look at my Review on it! I'm only saying with "Drag Me To Hell" being the type of film it is and being done by Sam Raimi, It will be some intense competition at the Box Office!! I Liked Angels & Demons, But I Also Liked Drag Me To Hell!!

ah theee lamia reminds me of solevnia andyugoslavia hmm how do i explain this well in thee gypsies cultur we have thee lamia whos curse is called the seed of lilith well when you are cursed asy you have forseen in the movie atleast ome of it tells ur cultur. the lamia takes the form of the person who they have cursed and is chased around buy plauging spirits bad luck halutionations and phobias wih makes them insucure and at the last day they jsut dissapere

Rajim, you are right. This movie was genuinely scary and suspenseful. I was really scared at certain points, kind of like when I watch "The Exorcist". This movie is really good.
