A tribute to George Kell. I grew up listening to you call Tiger games for TV. These memories of you in turn help me remember sitting along side my Dad watching on a Saturday afternoon. Thanks George your memory lives on...............................................

We've been blessed with some wonderful announcers in the Motor City, and George Kell is near the top of that list.

He had his best years with Boston. He was on the downslide when the Tigers got him.

My favorite, "But the damage is done!". To me he will always be the voice of summer. To this day, when I hear his voice, I can still smell the freshly cut grass....
