  • I'd also like to know how you know that you weren't hurting the caterpillar. It isn't as though it could verbally tell you that what you were doing was or wasn't painful. I have to say though, most creatures wouldn't enjoy having their heads smushed by a piece of plastic.

  • The only caterpillar with face

  • STEP ON IT I SHIT MY PANTS AND MY NERVES SYSTEM!!!!

  • its a Tiger Swallowtail Caterpillar

  • thats caterpie's coisin

  • The osmeterium smells like obnoxious butterscotch.

And I'm sure that smooshing the poor little thing is uncomfortable at least, and painful at most. Really... I'm consistently appalled by peoples' callous behavior toward living creatures, especially bugs.

  • For those with no experience with caterpillars, the Osmeterium smells terrible, my mom actually likes the smell and she thinks it smells like fresh paint...

  • For a second, it looked like a brown Ekans (The Pokemon).

  • thats a spice bush caterpillar not a swallowtail (it turns into a moth)

  • These caterpillars come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. Always had an interest in them, and all insects
