Articulate. Less.
You're reading like you're auditioning for a play. A school play.
You don't seem as cheesy as most of the auditions out here, and I admire that you allow people to comment and rate. Just let it flow, be more natural. Forget the script (figuratively) and become the character.

I hope you got it

Out of the seven or eight I have watched so far, yours is tied for first place. I also think it is darn nice of you to reply as you did to the criticism given. Many would be offput and snide. Keep up the good work, I think you will do well.

Why are all of these on Youtube? The casting called for tapes to be sent in.

Interesting face that works for the role. Eyes are a little too angry.

Love your hair! One of the few better ones I've seen on here, I auditioned too, dissapointed me that the girl is some pretty girl from L.A ahh

ur good
you have the right look and some parts are really good but it's like you don't even understand the lines you're reading. when the character first says she sold the cotton for 11 cents but then later says she actually only got 10 and a half cents for it, she's not saying supposed to be saying 10 and a half like it's a great thing, she's should be saying it like she's trying to quietly admit it. you just need to actually become the character, get in their head, not just imitate emotion.

@thestuffiknow ok, thanks for the tip! i didn't get a chance to really have anyone else's opinion before taping, but now that you mention it, i completely understand what you mean by the line about getting 10 and a half cents, and i think you are right. i wish i could have known that sooner lol. but thanks for watching/commenting!
