This has some great performances...what more could you ask for than the Solid Gold Dancers working the stripper pole? Does Pam look like a "brickhouse" on song #3 or what? If this wasn't 1984, with the change in Darcel, Deborah, and Pam I'd think they were all on steroids (but I like the results!).

Marilyn was such a class act. She was my favourite host and I liked the fact that she always danced along with the artists.

I wonder why Steve LaChance left Solid Gold, he was such a good fit. I never really got into both cooley/mark.....This was a solid epidose dance wise!

Nope it did occur after this Season when Darcel, Kahea and Arlene left and Jamilah came in along with Nicole and Beverly in September 1984.

Deborah Jensen left as a dancer on June 23rd, Arlene Ng entered as a Dancer on June 30th.

It's nice to see Mark , even though Steve LaChance who left was a much better dancer.

I love how Pam just ROCKED towards the end of the song "Reunited". To answer your question about Pam looking like a brickhouse in that number with Mark, I think it was just a side effect of being partner with Mark (he was so lean back then). Besides that I love that song by Joe Jackson and their number.
