as man to man i'd respect your appearance most with the goatee. mustaches are badass only worn by guys who are 200% straight, unless the guys older

I say mustache if you able to grow a thick full grown mustache. Not all men look good with a clean shaven face. But men who had a beard and mustache for many years, should go clean shaven.

I used to think facial hair was "manly," but I've gone back and forth, and right now, hopefully permanently, I am for COMPLETELY clean-shaven. It's a matter of personal preference, but it doesn't make a person more or less masculine.
