Hey man got any tips? I want to get into making clay sculptures and I am just a student.. I want to do a resident evil pistol. Also does the clay become hard after or do you put it in your oven :/

i sculpt in homemade wax for lost wax casting.
i make my wax with toilet bowl wax rings
melted with candle wax . the stuff is perfect and cheap.
