You must consider yourself quite superior to criticise other's people work then. This girl never claimed to be a professional. She's probably spent a few evenings practicising this dance so she could perform for a Burmese Thingyan festival.

The face that you have to go around making someone feel means you must lead a very sad life. Man, I feel sorry for you. Get a life, woman!!

This is Burmese dance. When I saw this on youtube, I was very surprised. When I read the compliments, I was very shocked. I am new to the dance, and it was my first performance. I hope it turned out well. Thank you for the support. :)

I was doing a lot of burmese vipassana at home and I had this strange dream of 3 burmese maiden dancers explaining life and the dhamma thorough movement and ritual hand-gestures. Strange how a meditation practice can bring other parts of the culture in through dreams.

I don't know enough about Burmese dance to say if she's good or bad, but do you critics think it would be better if she just threw away all Burmese traditions & did street dancing instead? Would that make you happy?

I think it's great that she's trying to do the traditional dance, and I think she is graceful and moves nicely.

I appreciate the Burmese basic dance of the girl because she preserves Burmese traditional outside Burma. We can teach it to our children abroad by viewing it. Go on girl!
