Consider the seated position in the Fundamentals of Thai Yoga class. In the SomaVeda Level One course we basically address all 19 asana or postures for the basic therapeutic vinyasana.
In this seated position Master Teacher and Yogic Physician Aaachan Dr. Anthony James personally demonstrates his system. In the basic seated position we see the unique shoulder press technique, a seated spinal twist from both sides and from the front and the back with an extension variation. Matsyandra or facilitated Whale bridge with a pillow bolster for a gentle back bend and the facilitated paschimotanasana or full foward bend. Questions are welcome. Come join us in class!
