Obama's Nazi Healthcare policies will not work.Big Pharma,and corporations have created a medical dictatorship to where they only care about profit and nothing else. Universal healthcare will not work in America, as the pricing system stands currently. It is estimated to cost $1.6 Trillion dollars in ten years, and most likely it will far exceed it by at least 1.5 times if passed. Also, it will dramatically decrease the quality, and the lack of competition, which is the greatest reason for extreme prices in healthcare.The estimate of cost in the ten years or so, I estimate if, it was passed with the current medical dictatorship, would be at least 3 trillion dollars, which would be 300 billion dollars a years or more.

That will only work in a utopian society, in a capitalist society its a pipe dream. There are plenty of documented cases where they were extremely short of health care professionals because no one could make a decent living doing it compared to the huge cost and time committment to get the education and qualifications.

As a Canadian who lived in the US, who worked in a US hospital, who saw with his own eyes how completely f*cked up your healthcare system is (unless you're rich), who has benefited many times from healthcare in Canada, I'm glad I moved back to good ol' Canuckistan. I was in a car accident in Canada. The Ontario govt flew me post-haste to an excellent facility - no question of can it be afforded - to save my life.

Health Care reform is simple. Take the profit out of it so that you get health care staff who are in the job because they care about life.

Offer govt. health care to those who can't afford it but let it be known that the care will be equal to the soup in the kitchen. If you don't like that level of care then go EARN better care. The status quo is acceptable to over half of the population. My insurance, which I have my own individual policy, is not perfect but clearly acceptable. What happened to earning things in this country. What about you reap what you sow? Should anybody not have access to food or health in this country? The answer is no. But, should gangbangers who contribute nothing to society get the same medical attention as a cardiac surgeon? I would say no. Should the gangbanger get his stab wound fixed? yes.
