38. The Second Call

This video was a lot of fun to make. The song is upbeat, and the footage really brought out all that the song had to offer. As far as the editing is concerned, this is easily one of my 'tighter' videos, with most, if not all of the timings being right on. Speed plays a big role in this video, and the clips were placed to reflect that, whether it be in a "driving forward" pattern, or a single line of melody. Track mattes also help to emphasize some of the larger beats in the video. Pay close attention to what's shown in them if you want to see the larger connection wth the center clips. Overall, although it's short, this is one of my best edited videos. I hope you enjoy it ^_~

It's a combination of image mattes and motion settings, done in three separate layers: one layer for the clip that moves, another for the border, ad then a third for the background clip.

I use Adobe Premiere. The border, however, is my own design done in Adobe Photoshop ;)
