Schuylkill Hose Co. #2 Dive Rescue and Recovery Team

This is a video of Schuylkill Hose Companies Dive Rescue and Recovery Team. Our company is located in Schuylkill Haven Pennsylvania, we house Squad 734 which is fully set up and ready to go at all times for diving operation's. We also house 2 inflatable rescue boats pre rigged and set up on a trailer and one aluminum flat bottom boat equipped with side scan sonar and is also pre rigged and set up on a trailer. Our divers are all certified scuba divers some from basic open water all the way up to the instructor level. Our call history includes body recoveries, assisting Police Departments in searches, assisting personnel stranded in water, searching for missing persons, vehicle removal from water, assisting in clean up of Hazardous Material spills into the water, assisting and removing personnel stranded in homes during floods, and searching lake and river bottoms with side scan sonar. Awesome vid guys im a member of Lakeville Co.18 in NEPA were taking the swift water rescue class now plus we got 5 to 6 members pushing for dive training

@MRBEEF1000 Well most of our guys are swift water certified, and everyone is at least open water. Do you run a dive unit up there.

not yet Ledgedale Tafton and Forrest do i believe we will have a couple guys to take the dive class jus to assist but i would really love to start a dive team but it will be a while yet we jus got a new tanker it will be at the fire expo this year
