  • Why didn't you just put in a 351W instead of a 351C?

  • Because a 351W is more appropriate to a 3/4 ton pickup hauling loads? Because Windsors are the only engine almost as common in swaps as SBCs? No, I just like the Cleveland heads better. No stock small block ever had heads that ran like Clevelands, although I admit the "LS" engines have outstanding heads. Seriously, though, next engine for the truck will be a Windsor block with Cleveland heads, Lord willing, to get the best of both worlds in small Fords.

    1970. Originally 2V, but now has aluminum heads on it more like 4V.

  • Very mild engine, so probably just around 380-400hp.

    That's a joke, right?

    The only benefit of a W over a C is they have better oiling. Do a search online for the actual size of C heads. They flow better than most aftermarket W heads that have been ported.

  • @Zekais that would be a sick motor when its done i think its called a "clevor" i have a windsor block and am thinking of building one of those

    I've just had better luck with 351W's. The more power, The better, Even if it sucks a tank of gas a mile. :D

  • the 351 is no joke. we got it in our 92 ford flareside and FUCK it just burns the tires.
