Begbie's debut album The Age of Golden Lies very quickly attracted so many enthusiasts of their large and small, intimate-intensive artworks, that quickly, a flock of remix and bonus versions of multiple renowned artists arose. Begbie decided to release a special selection as a Deluxe Edition of the album. Special versions of good records can go wrong, but here we experience the adorable opposite. A multitude of the modificated songs are geared to the originals, not only close enough, but also fiercely danceable, motivating, fevered and to sweat away the night.

There is a mixture of 80s synth and electro pop, alternative dance with a certain wave impact, spherical dream pop in the style of characteristic genre stars over to defiant break beats with oldschool jungle or reggaeton influences. It's aesthetic, a fantastic listening pleasure and tremendously varied. The new intoxicating single Live for Today opens up the remix of the debut and at the same time builds a bridge. Hypnotizing beats taken from drum'n'bass, R&B and even techno entwine and are accompanied by the impressive variety of the The Age of Golden Lies Deluxe Edition. It is completed by a delightfully fresh 'summer shack', how K-Paul calls his own contribution to the album.

At highest speed they ride across a funfair in a Bumper Car, to the Morning Gymnastics-exercises or to a Candle Light Dinner with an elegant R&B cherry on the cake. Charming indie-electronica, powerful dubstep and spleenish nu gaze-episodes spread heartiness and set your teeth on edge. Begbie unify countless originalities and reconcile them in one and the same golden cage to create something very unique.
