  • Hi, how did the he sound after the surgery? Was his airway obstructed due to post op swelling? How long did it take before breathing didn't seem laboured?

    Wyatt is doing really well now thank heavens. His obstruction was due to an infection of unknown cause. Much like Strangles in horses it was a huge puss pocket. After surgery he was breathing fine on his own.. It was that first 24 hours before surgery that we almost lost him. He had a good 2 1/2 days of needing help breathing. BUT thankfully he's back to his old self! :)
