This composition is by Shigeru Umebayashi not Michael Galasso. Originally it was composed for the 1991 Japanese film "Yumeji". But less than a decade later Wong Kar Wai asked Umebayashi to use this track for "In the Mood for Love". And then this beautiful song become world famous...
