Happy Birthday Kurt Cobain! (About a Girl and Come As You Are (Unplugged))

I made this in dedication to the birth of Kurt Cobain, lead singer and guitarist for the grunge alternative (yeah, I went there) rock band Nirvana. (label them what you well, whatevs)

I really really like this band and have read and seen several biographies about the band and it's history and they just really appeal to me. It's almost ESPECIALLY because of the nostalgia, you wouldn't believe how many times I've heard Smells Like teen Spirit, Come As You Are, Lithium, All Apologies, etc when I was a youngin' that shit stays with you man

It was only about maybe four years ago in eighth grade when I first like, started "discovering" music (by means of the internet of course) and this band (and Pearl Jam and most likely Stone Temple Pilots) definitely was like, OH SHIT SON, THAT SONG, but to like, nearly their entire discography

I kind of got into music late (obviously), but I've more than made up for it in that time period. I hope you guys enjoy it!

And also, this is probably my favorite album by them, or close to it at least, I dig acoustic music and these renditions are fucking badass as shit. I own the dvd so as you can see, the quality is fucking premium =)

I know it's unbelievably difficult to believe, but drums and bass (and basically guitar, i haven't played this since GHWT released) are all on my sightreads for About a Girl! And also, so is the bass, guitar, and vocals for Come As You Are, really for seriously d00d

Woooo okay so I also did Heart Shaped Box (again), Sappy and Very Ape, but I couldn't get them finished in time so I might scrape those. Who knows! Enjoy =)

Yes but in GH the ride cymbal is charted as a yellow note instead of the normal orange note (almost every song ive played has had the ride as a orange note instead of a yellow)
