what is the point of cutting it of because it will mess slinky up, and you will be left with a hole between his eyes. Why not blue tac it of or somthing because you would not have a hole .

I mean really, why would any toy manufacturer put a peice of string in between the eyes of slinky dog?????? It really sucks!!!

I have the original Slinky from when I was a kid; has the same feature with the stupid string. I found out that the "Original" Slink has the string on his collar, but because kids would drag him around they found it difficult to do that cause he would fall over. So in later years they decided to do this.....the hell?
