  • @CUMMINSPOWER0789 its actually because of fuel being burned up in the mid pipe section. usually catalytic converters, or straight pipes cause the excess fuel to have a loud popping sound due to the fuel being eliminated. thats why when you remove your catalytic converters, the popping stops almost completely, and why your exhaust smells like fuel run off. because the unrestrictive flow allows the fuel to just evaporate against the warm pipes and not explode inside the catalytic converter.

  • @budlightman503 that I a reason I dislike Fords is because they don't sound good straight piped.

  • hey man im a ford guy and i like chevy a lil bit but man that truck sounds good ass hell i got a 97 ford f150 and it has a 4.6l v8 and i want somthing on it loud and that will pop but will sound good

  • no back pressure no mufflers to stop it so like on a jake break big rig a regular gas motor does the same thing with straight pipes but if u have no mufflers with cats it will stop at the cats but with hollow pipe from the manifolds or headers down to the tips there will be nothing to stop it

  • its actually because on my 5.3 liter like evryone elses it pops because there is no back pressure an when the pistons move up an down thats what u here poping no back pressure an the axhuast has nothing to restrict the flow an if u have cats no mufflers it baraley pops an with no cats no mufflers it pops like crazy an there goes ur gas cuz the converters stop all the exhaust emmissions coming out an thats what u smell

  • Sounds mean! I like it haha

  • i love that what type of exhoust is that

  • @97chevyZ71350 correct but the biggest part of it is when u let off air goes back through the exhaust thus the pop but what causes it to pop is the cold air hitting the hot valves

  • @CUMMINSPOWER0789 its probably the excess of fuel still going into the cylinders while the motor is reving down. and it also probably has to do with the higher frequency exhaust notes that are no longer being caught by the muffler.

  • I pressed play and Jizzed! hahaha
