@madblunted ya i have the 1982 with the 2.6 in it with a 112,000 miles on it and it still runs like new the only problem i have is the carb it over loads when its cold so a but load of black carbon with come out until it warms up to like 80 90
i think you did it wrong, you let it get to operating temp, put the seafoam in the TB slowly while running then let it sit 5-10 minutes then drive it hard to clean it out, i also put a can in the gastank too
Man i love these trucks. thank god mine only flows white smoke on a cold start. but im 21 and my first car is my pride and joy. the black and chrome grilled 86' d50 sport 2.6.its almost that color but it had trim and body stripes factory. ive put a new 34/34 solex weber carb, tires, radiator, and its a huge improvement. after buying it and 3000 miles later this lil truck has 164xxx miles. i plan on restoring the classic truck. I call my d50 RAMMY RICE BURNER.
I had a ram50 sport, was the best mini truck ever, only had problems w/ the starter wire, other than that, would sometimes push start it, and it would was a tank! Mine was teh aqua green or whatever you call that color! those 4 cyls were the shiznit.
actually your wrong, the piston rings need time to seat before you go revving the piss out of it lol not to mention nothing is more healthy fo an engine then a dry start, as you see here
@xXgrapedrankXx more like the starter not the blocl

Your supposed to drive the piss out of it once you get it started, so it burns out all the carbon more better.
