I prefer little dogs than big ones... I'm not saying big ones aren't a great choice but you can control them easily... I saw some chihuahuas and mine, they are nervous so the noises like kid's screaming are not a good idea, mine is always on the alert even when is night and you need to make some noises when you get up of the bed and go to the bath, or drink some of water. I can see its nervous 'cause the tail is shaking a lot and its ears are retracted.
