The Lot Lizards of Ontario California

They may be illegal, immoral and unacceptable and you don't have to take part to enjoy the culture. The Ontario TA West Truck stop offers an interesting cat and mouse game (pardon the pun) between the truck drivers who frequent their "wares" and the local officials trying to put a stop to it all. In fairness, the TA local security is also trying to put a stop to it. However we drivers know that if you don't want to take part in this game or be surrounded by it, there's the TA East next door that doesn't have the "problem"

Hence the Ontario Ta's nicknames, heavan and hell.

I don't disagree that there are lot lizards there in Ontario or any other truck stop for that matter but not every girl that walks of the pavement is one. I'm a 29 yr old female truck driver not a lot lizard but that didn't stop all them men coming up to me asking how much for a good time just because I walked from my truck to the diner. That is not only insulting but heartbreaking that you men believe that just because I was a girl at a truck stop I had to be a lizard. Women can be truckdrivers

I was very careful when filming this to be sure that the people I was filming were very likely to be "working" I understand your frustration as well as I've seen people approaching not only attractive female drivers, but on occasion, a truck driver will bring his/her daughter for the summer tour and they get approached. I'm surprised that more drivers don't get his arse kicked when approaching someone's daughter as well.

I was sitting in the T/A West listening to the crap on the radio and one driver keys up and asks, "Has anyone seen my sister?" Another driver comes back and says, "Yah, she just got out of my truck, after servicing me." The first driver comes back with, "Well it's good to know she's still around 'cause I lost track of her after her sex change." O.o

When I lived in Arizona we thought of Lot Lizards as women that looked like they were 16 with beautiful long blond hair but they were really 80 year olds with sun baked skin, thus the name Lot Lizards which made hitting on women risky business.

I agree w/ blue jeans. I am also a solo chick driver, but I do come through Ontario a lot,( seeing how I do my home time in so cal) and I know for sure that 2 of those ladies don't drive truck...... How shameful it is.

@wgcarver This is why I dislike to bring my fiance with me, She's 110lbs, 5,7.. Blonde.. Gets alot of looks in public and on the beaches. And I have to walk with her everywhere except for the ladies restroom for her to avoid harassment.. Ive pushed quiet a few people in my day. :P

I've spent my share of weekends stuck at the Ontario West T/A. I've seen my share of drivers get busted right along with the hookers by Ontario PD. T/A's are known for not tolerating lot lizards. And, if the hookers don't bother you in the parking lot, the bums out front will!
