The opener of "Finnegan's Wake" (season 6 episode 21) directed by Steve Buschemi. Probably my favorite use of music throughout the entire series ("Hello Stranger" by Barbara Lewis).

  • Does anyone else find Frank with that soup spoon a bit...hot?

Love your videos. Any chance you could post the homeless shooting from Season 7? I've never seen it!

  • I just posted it (sorry for the wait! Look in my video profile :)

And Frank is just hot no matter what he does, lol.

  • You know how to pick the best scenes to post!!

  • I try :)

  • This scene is so heartbreaking I totally agree the choice of music in this scene is excellent. When I first saw this scene I was crushed, around every corner I want there to be Adena's killer for Bayliss to crack it or to let it go and Homicide handles it so well.

Not to mention the spectacular acting!

You picked a winning pony! <3

  • I'm definitely in love with Bayliss. Thanks for helping me rediscover this near-perfect show!

  • oh Tim Bayliss......he breaks my heart in this scene.....

He is possibly my favorite character on the show. Kyle Secor is a great actor and gives life to his character so that's it's not even acting it's....something else.

    And he's kinda hot :)

    @befriendsomeonetoday

    totally agree with you :)

  • LMAO! My mom always had the hots for Frank so I'm sure she would agree. But the rest of the scene with Tim is so heartbreaking. His love for Adena always seemed so powerful and real to me. Like it wasn't acting...I could imagine a cop really feeling that way about a victim. Amazing.

  • And on the 3rd viewing, the 2nd cop, the one that picks up the knife, looks very familiar too! Maybe I'm just "seeing" things.

  • Wonderful scene! Poor Bayliss.

On a side note, was that first cop on the stairs at about the 12 second mark, Steven Bauer, "Manny Ribera" from Scarface?

Probably not, but he bore a strong enough resemblance that I had to ask. Maybe I'm confusing him with the role he had on Hill St Blues.

    Thanks for the post!
