And to all the people who talk this hate crap: Look, I don't hate Jew's or people that practice Judaism. In fact I think very highly of them. I have just criticized Zionism, a particular political agenda supported by Matisyahu. Like I would criticize apartheid or black supremacy I criticize Zionism. That does not mean I hate all white people, black people or Jew's. Zionism like all these political agendas is and should not be immune to criticism. Criticizing is not fighting or hating. Mad...

Thank God not all music has been reduced to the X factor crap. Some music is made for more that entertainment of spoiled teenagers. Some music is more about content than form and is mend to influence opinion, to criticize, to protest against oppression. That is the tradition of a lot of much Roots Music. Sorry but it's not all 'lets be happy', 'I love you' now lets take XTC - music...

If you knew anything about reggae music you would know it has everything to do with politics and religion. In fact Reggae Music IS politics and religion, Matis does stay in the tradition of Reggae in that way...I give him that much. However the zionism is his message is completely opposed to that of reggae in general.

I post this because as a Rasta because I hope people will not confuse Matis message with the general message of other Reggae Artists because both use simmilar riddims. My issue is that the philosophy of Zionism contradicts that of Roots reggae. There are many white Reggae artist that make roots Reggae music and stay true to its message. Equal rights an Justice. See Groundation. Matis unlike Groundation abuses our culture to spread a Zionist message which is opposed to our message and interests

This is not about hate. Although Zionists like to attach the hate label on all who criticize their policies. This is about equality. Matisyahy should have listened to HIM and Bob Marley who said the until the philosophy that holds one race superior than another is finally and permanently destroyed there will be War. No peace without Equality. Until there is equal access to Justice and opportunity for all who live in Palestine there will be war..

It should come as no surprise that Matisyahu remains a staunch supporter of Zionism. Zionism like Apartheid in SA and Segregation in the US guarantees and justifies Orthodox Jews like him a privileged status. Contrarily Reggae and Rastafari promote equal access to rights and justice for all. Zionism like Apartheid and Segregation granted special citizenship rights to some citizen by virtue of their unique ancestry, culture or genes, all to sustain established positions of inequality.
