Did you change jets at all? If not, did you notice any difference in idle, power, or get any fouling?

@SledgeMakeGood I did re-jet and rebuild the carb when I cut the pipes. After all the work the power feels about the same as before...it just looks and sounds alot better

The bike had full length Jardine pipes when I bought it. I cut out the cross member and welded it shut. Then I cut off the stock hanger and flipped the pipes upside down which turned them upward. Finally I cut the length with a chop-saw into a nice short slash cut and welded the shortened hangers back on the opposite side.
