4/14/07, Step It Up: April 14th, 2007 was the National Day of Climate Action. On this one spring day, there were hundreds and hundreds of rallies all across the country.
Every group said the same thing: "Step it up, Congress! Cut Carbon 80% by 2050."
In Burlington Vermont, Senator Bernie Sanders and Mayor Bob Kiss spoke about the need for change and the important role young people play in our future.

Young folks think Bernie is going to save the environment????????? He is just a big mouthed politicans. Come on - while you young folks will have to work a lifetime to have little I don't think Bernie ever had a real job. He's lived off your taxes and just rants. He claims to have NEVER heard of Omnibus Reconcilation Act of 1993 that stole your grandparents and parents earned benefits and shifts their cost to the next generations. Yak, yak, yak....

I would watch what you say. Vermont school test results for NAEP were execptionally high compared to other states in the USA.

Arnie was good with the vehicle standards, but he missed a oppertunity when he let the American Auto makers sue Califronia. Bush backed that, Califronia had plans for a electric car infastructure. In my town there is a solar charging station for electric cars. My area has alot of renewable sources. Watch the documentary Who Killed the Electric Car if you are interisted.
