Unreal Engine 4 Release Discussion: Will There Ever be Another Unreal Tournament?

So, it looks as though Unreal Tournament has been shelved AT LEAST until Epic Games releases Unreal Engine 4, which is scheduled for release sometime in 2012. ; So, can we expect UT4 to release in '12-13??

@Backscrachter Not really... I have played both and I prefer Halo. When you have two very technically sound games without a whole lot of bullshit to piss you off or game ruining bugs, it just comes down to preference. There's no better game. It's totally subjective. Not many games can hang with Halo. Halo would actually be crushing Call of Duty right now if it was multiplatform instead of xbox only.

@Backscrachter c'mon dude... i was born in 1993 and started playing games at early age i have played UT i played it every time i had the chance to even if against bots but when halo came i loved it for it's story way more than Unreal Tournament now i have played all UT games i still think the story building of halo is way better than blowing up body pieces with rockets all the time.

Epic bastardized ut when they consolized, rip ut. Back in the day ut99 and 2k4 were the best fps shooters around. If there ever is a ut4, it needs to not be console design limited, back to large maps of onslaught, dx11 high res graphics and most importantly Cliffy B.

The original Unreal Tournament was the best fps I've ever played. Solider of fortune 2 comes a close second, everything else is immaterial.

the best game mode is vehicular ctf.....unreal was made for vehicles. I hate dm and tdm.
