The GGF may be publishing my poem

on their Web site. That would be nice, to see it "in print" (altho I'm 'nervous' about it)! What if the Gouldians don't like (or understand) it? It has a sort of eerie *reincarnation theme* to it, that some might not care for. It's just a "Fantasy-type-Tale" not to be taken seriously, or literally, of course. I hope they will just enjoy it! (BTW, I want to thank you for your kind words re: my verse ab/ "His hands", that was so nice of you & "made my day")!

Good for both GGF and you! I wouldn't worry about pleasing everybody. No such thing is achivable; the man himself didn't care to become everyone's buddy, it seems to me.  Good luck on your wonderful endeavor!

(More Lines from the 'Ode/Poem' / these follow the ones re: his hands): The lazy slouch that you folded into... And the steely, steady gaze... When listening to [and judging] your music... The faraway look in those azure eyes... Where did they go to...so far away? The enigmatic sweetness of your sensitive face... That speaks volumes of silent poetry to me... This is just an excerpt between verses, (wanted to put in the lines ab/his *azure* eyes, thought you'd like that). :-)

OMG! How great this one is! Right down to the "small-off-centered-ness" of his right eye! I'm admiring your talent more with every picture! I'd love to have some of them on my wall! As the French would say: "Ils sont exquis!"

So Annie, you have knoticed about his eye, namely the right eye as well.

I have another Gouldian tell me that she also wondered about this eye. A bit lazy, but was a fine blue I bet :)

Yuzu - About the eyes, you said: ~ "A bit lazy, but was a fine blue I bet" :) ~ Yes he did have a 'lazy eye' didn't he? But it just added more 'interest' to his look, don't you think? (You know, the "everyone needs one flaw" thing)? I even like to see a slight scar on a man sometimes -- not a woman, though -- oh, no! But a man - yes, it can add character! I'm going to post a few more lines from my little "Ode to GG" where I mention his eye color. (I do agree w/u about "a fine color of blue"!
