We all need attention in our lives, in some way, shape or form.
When we start out we get over joyed to find someone has in interest in your content and continue in order to rack up the numbers.
but then something happens, you get closer with your audience and understand them, you gain connections with them and you start selflessly making videos because you love it more.
I think this is the new way of being known as someone relatable or even famous
@slylink690 Thats what I think too. I was reading an interview with Natalie (Comm.Channel) and she was saying how she isn't a celebrity on anything, or she doesnt feel like it, but she is rather a "friend" or someone you listen to and can reply to. So this whole "youtube fame" a lot of big tubers are experiencing, can be interpreted as something completely new in the entertainment industry. Maybe the future, who knows.
I love your videos and I love lots of others peoples videos, today I was going though my subscriptions and so many people had their accounts closed, it made me sad because I actually missed those people even though they had no idea who I am, its kinda like my subscriptions are my friends even if they don't know me. (as a viewer)
@misstaramcmahon Yep exactly. It is a lot easier to relate to people on youtube, even the ones who work very professionally like thestation for example, rather than trying to relate to actors or even TV celebrities.
I really like the way you explained this Sascha.
