Arkansas Traveler

A fiddle tune in the key of "D". Legend has it that this song was being played by a fiddler in Arkansas when a traveler stopped by to listen. He then asked the fiddler why he was only playing the first part of the tune? The fiddler replied, "If you show me the second half of the tune, I'll play it too." The traveler showed the fiddler the second half of the song, and he played it that way ever since. Thus the title "Arkansas Traveler".
