@Zoroark7 死 Shi - death, 神 Kami - god, 死神 Shinigami, literally "death god". Here refers to a separated species.

@Zoroark7 I don't know what you are trying to say, but you should look up what Shinigami means then. The definition is pretty clearly written as Death God.
Suwako saying that may just means she does not believe Shinigami are gods, that is all. And no, gods can in fact die.

@Zoroark7 Actually, the difference between ka and ga is called rendaku, which is not a big difference. Plus, I am not a Shinigami expert, I just took "death god" from the description. T_T

@dEndiProductions Note: It is Shinigami, not Shinikami. Small change=big difference. Plus, gods cannot die; Shinigami can (if they die, another Shinigami will probably ferry them off).
