Fished this pier all the time usually pretty good . I hate the tourist that try to come fish the end of the pier . Stay off the end tourist you have no clue how to land kings and cobia you dont bring the correct gear and you get in the way .

i saw this guy up there when i went to destin he was throwing a BIG spoon on a BIG pole and went to cast it and the bail closed in mid-cast and the spoon went flying. He was like "Aw crap looks like im done" overall it was a great day of fishing me and my brothers enjoyed the pier and the surroundings. there were alot of fish and birds and my dad hooked a sea turtle. We hooked into several dolphins. if you do not have a heavy pole, it'd be a good idea to rent a pole from the shop up there! 5 **s
