Is the Droid X or the Incredible workable for blind / vision impaired people yet? Do I have to buy a phone with a physical keyboard. Does the new technology/apps make these phones accessible? What's your advice? If not those ...how about the Droid 2?

@jdoggd74 Was this an update through Verizon? The Eris was dropped from the lineup, anyway.

Why don't you upgrade your touch to 3.0? It's only $5, or you can just download the firmware from the net.

Since 99% of people won't ever touch the Accessibility features on the iPod, I can see where you're coming from. However, the accessibility options on the iPod are a hardware dependent feature, and cannot be had with a simple firmware update.

Thanks for this. But you can't type with your nails. It wants more pressure.

After researching it, I am going to wait for TalkBack to be more usable, and a more usable keyboard to pop up.
