  • Mashallah! This is beautiful, In the age of photoshop and Illustrator this is very refreshing. More uploads if you have any thanks!

  • @mewoone No my friend it's not forbidden to paint figures of humans, but of prophets, God, and paradise. The bible says the same, but only protestants stick to that rule.

  • @XxaldairxX it's a natural soil(powder) that you need to mix it with gall. But it's not easy to find. Instead you can use acrylic, you just need to add a little water to it. However some acrylic paint does not expand on the water surface very well. You may need to add gall also. Paper should be thick, otherwise it may sink to the water. Another thing is, water is not a pure water. You need to add carregeenan to make it jelly. Hope it helps...

  • if someone could answer these questions i would greatly appreciate it.

What kind of ink is needed for this? will regular paint work?

When putting the painting on paper can any regular paper work or is some form of special paper needed?

  • what kind of ink is that ? could you tellme please? this is so good i wanna learn =) im from Perú

  • Are you using water-based paints on an oil base, or oil paints on water? Thank you.

  • 1:32 its Super Mushrooms minus their spots!

  • Today i've made my first ebru art work :D

    Very interesting!

  • @Blu0Blur0Lover0 My sister taught Ebru to many non-turkish people here in Australia. Of course, you don't need to be Turkish or Muslim to learn this.

  • I don't think it would be appropriate to classify Ebru Art as Islamic, because it is not. Rather it revolves around Sufi and relaxation only because of its nature... Also would be ideal to add that you do not need to be of a certain ethnic or spiritual background to practice this art... It's more so something that should come from within...
