Testing the Sony 0.7x Wide End Conversion Lens using my Sony DCR-TRV19 MiniDV camcorder in 16:9 mode. The lens is 58 mm diameter and comes with adapter rings for camcorders with 25, 30, and 37 mm lenses.

  • @janneatje As I wrote in the video description, the wide angle lens is 58 mm diameter and comes with adapter rings for camcorders with 25, 30, and 37 mm lenses. Check the owner's manual to find out what size of lens your camcorder uses.

    and what is the difference between a fish eye and a wide angle?

  • @enjoi2281 A fisheye lens gives a much wider view by distorting the shape of the image -- it turns straight lines into curves. A regular wide angle lens gives a wider view without distorting the image.
