  • Nice gun. How is the recoil? The same thing, 4in vented barrel in a .357 magnum is surprisingly comfortable to fire.

  • @GomerfromIsaan It's very comfortable to fire. The higher loads are a little wild, but the serrated rubber grip does wonders for recoil reduction.

  • Never EVER swing the cylinder closed unless you are in a shoot out. As mush as even a Taurus cost it is not wroth it. Don't ask to shoot my gun.

  • @carl1124 learn to spell?

  • Great gun, great clip, guy that last shot had really good form too. How good would you say that gun is for being used as a concealed carry weapon? Is it short and thin enough that it would be comfortable to carry all day and it not get annoying?

  • Thanks! Guy in the last shot is actually me.

For conceal carry, it is a decent piece. It is considered a medium frame revolver, and I have carried it comfortably for hours .

  • keep flipping the cylinder in like that and you'll be buying a few hours of gunsmithing time. DON'T DO THAT IT BREAKS THE CRANE!

Good form for the owner, everyone else needs to think about getting some training.

  • Never EVER swing the cylinder closed. You will screw up the allignment of the cylinder from the frame causing you issues in the future. You can do it like once in awhile but NEVER do it all the time. FUCK

  • Agreed. Not sure when that's a good stance, definately not good for accuracy.

  • pay the extra few bucks and go with brass

  • i have the same gun except mine is the blued one. i noticed that you had a little trouble there at one point getting the hammer back. mine does it too. i say ditch the Blazers. i think the aluminum casing on those cant handle the heat and swell up. because the first couple rounds are ok but the third or so will start doing that.

  • @pawwisco I am middle aged and can agree with this statement!

  • how many rounds have you put through that gun?

  • @meccastreisand could you explain to me how a light flick of the wrist breaks the crane quicker than FIRING the weapon?!? The crane is the only thing holding the cylinder and 35'000 PSI of pressure in place.

All I have heard of is anecdotal evidence, and there is plenty of evidence that cranes get bent just from regular firing of the gun.

It's tantamount to saying "Don't slam the magazine in that pistol! You'll damage the feed lips!"

  • @jmack91z28 Not to tell anyone how to shoot but, the last guy that shoots does not have good form. Its called shooting teacup. Difficult to manage recoil while shooting how you learned to play Duckhunt on a Nintendo. But its like a golf swing, if its comfortable and it works don't change it. Just figured I would offer my 2 cents.

  • this is a great gun for hikers and fishermen. i never hit the high lakes without it.

  • @vedfolnir Yeah - with that ribbed grip it feels like you're holding a pillow. Just for fun I tried firing the .357 from the hip to see if I would get blast from the barrel vents. It wasn't too bad. You would probably get more from your .44mag.
