    No, because the king would need to move to the g file, which blocks the "elephant" from taking the queen

    The king has to go to the g-file, because that's the only legal move, but it blocks the rook's(elephant's) protection to the knight( horse), so that's how the queen takes the knight :). The rook can also be captured after that :D

    I was going Rg6 but the reply ...Rf7 tells me I need to be watching a bunch more videos. Great stuff - I totally love chess.com; the tactics trainer, mentor programme and the video's you guys make are so good - well worth the price!
