Listen butt-head, its name is historical which is why the majority call it Derry, the 'Anglicised' form of Doire. Not all maps show it one way either. Plus 'Derry City Council' are currently going through a process of investigating the impact of a name change. This is a polite way of saying we're looking at both sides opinions, but what majority want, majority get. Derry it will be again. Thank you.

I love Derry, but it's a shithole. C'mon seriously. Dublin is a city, Belfast tries to hard to be a city, but fails miserably, and Derry has just given up. The rest of Ireland isn't even worth talking about. Unionism has attempted to drag the Occupied Northern Counties back to the 1950's. Just look at those complete dumps Coleraine, Omagh, Newry, Lisburn, Lurgan etc etc. The North and South are crap.

We have had our share of trouble over the years but the peole of Derry cannot be blamed for it. Most things were impossible to avoid or made impossible to accept.
Lets hope for a properous peaceful future within a unified non-partitioned Ireland.

I miss Derry so much, It's a lovely, beautiful city, where I can feel like home...
Derry is my second home...
