Young people involved in the juvenile and adult justice systems have high rates of substance use and abuse as well as mental health problems. A number of interventions have been shown to make a difference in helping young people and their families access the community supports
necessary to reduce their involvement in the justice system and improve their lives in the community. This workshop will discuss these critical interventions and offer suggestions for how they can be implemented by local jurisdictions.
