This is one of my favourite pieces of music of all time. So magical. I finally got round to salvaging this video from my old computer. It's about 2-3 years old and was filmed outside Browns of Chester. Song is Variations on Pachabels Canon off Purple Electric Violin Concerto 2

  • i want him to play this at my wedding:)

  • OMG...its is amazing what you can do with that violin!!

  • Iv been lucky enough to see Ed busking about seven times now I could stand and listen all day hes brilliant .

  • Not that there's anything wrong with electric violins but I prefer a more classical instrument such as mine. That being said though this guy is amazing no matter how you spin it!

  • I love this peice of music and this bloke is a genius!!!

  • @lordc0ntyb0ll0cks hey,, you made me laugh soo oooo much !!, that was brilliant !!!!! regards M...

  • @modulemodule it is never to late! I'm 17 soon 18 but I will begin to play soon ^^

  • @modulemodule

And me stuck in the wrong hole =))

  • Great !

A few decades ago, all you heard was Del Gesu this, Strad that. The violin is a beautiful instrument but it was stuck in a time warp. It is due to Ed Allen and a few others who have come after that the instrument has had a resurgence. Look how many more are playing these electric instruments now and how many more are being sold now. Do all the student violinists of today want to just play 18th and 19thC style music - how ever good?. I don't think so.
