LA Audio - A Boutique Recording Environment

Located on 2 and one-half acres just off K-10 at Woodland in Johnson County, Kansas, LA-Audio is truly a magical place for the creation and production of music. The only facility in the Kansas City area built from the ground up to be a recording studio, LA-Audio was constructed with 2x6 staggered-stud framing without nailsall wood screws. The floors are 8 thick, rubber floated and all the rooms are physically separated. The space itself is room-within-a-room with a 4 airspace surrounding. The control room, a modified Studio BaTon design, is the most accurate sounding mix room in the mid-west.

LA-Audio utilizes the best of analog as well as digital technologies with 2 tape for analog punch and natural compression as well as the infinite editing capabilities of Pro-Tools Accell HD.
