Sittin on Top of the World

Here's my simple take on this bluegrass and blues classic. I sing a verse, tell the chords, give some soloing ideas, and the rest is yours....

By the way, I didn't tune my mandolin before hand and I think it creeped up a little sharp, so I'm sorry for the trouble if you are wanting to play along. Just let me know and I'll redo it.

Thanks for the comment. That's just the style I play, I dunno. Half of bluegrass is the blues anyway. I'd rather play it the way i feel than the way it's "supposed" to sound.

Plus, the song predates "bluegrass" as a blues and/or old timey song. It was adopted by Bill Monroe who then established it as a bluegrass standard.
