Have you ever sluiced up at mineral bar in colfax? its really good gold if you go up the pennyweight trail all the way out to pennyweight bar. its around a mile or so hike but VERY worth it

@prankguy56 some equipment i get off of e/bay if.. it looks like a good deal and is rugged...the scale i got off e/bay the sluice too. the blue bowl i found at a gold supplie shop as wel as the classifiying screens..i try to get the best deal for what i need.

Great video with some good tips with your way of classifying ,the only thing I would do different is add Jet dry to the water so the float gold will sink ,it breaks the surface tension of the water and you will be able to recover a little more

@shye7493 i generaly do , but it was the one thing i didnt put in the vid, becouse of time restraints. at the time but thanks for the tip all will`get a helpfull hand from it.

thats alot of black sand i use that stuff for my 2nd stage in my rock tumbler

Another great video. Have you ever tried butte creek or the feather river in the butte county area? I live in butte county and bet that a prospector as skilled as you would make a killing up here

@MrLewis530 i have never tried the feather but i am allways up to new places , its just the timeing thing..that holds me back sometimes. but if i get that way i will shout out to you for sure.
