Um, no; this version of the song is by Kanye West. The original is by Daft Punk. He did not "rip-off" the song, he sampled it with the permission of Daft. They even performed it together at the 2007 VMAs.

And you say he butchered it, but I think his version is better. The original is a bit too cartoony for my tastes.

At least we can agree on one thing, though: this guy did an excellent job on the performance.
