Dec 2 - In an extraordinary effort to avoid bankruptcy GM has come back to congress begging for $18B today after congress initially rejected their plea. The companies are under pressure to downsize operations and expenses, to sell assets, cap executive pay and to green up their product lines.

  • I cant stop laughing over this!

This P.O.S. is what our tax dollars is spent on! You say it's going to bring you out of bankruptcy! LOL!

Glad I'm a Ford Man and not a GM ass kissing wall-street F^CK SLUT!

  • Instead of flying to DC in their private jets the Auto Execs are driving to DC to beg for billions of bailout money..Oh come on don't insult America with this pathetic ploy you overpaid cake-eaters! Detroit screwed itself with poor quality, unwanted vehicle designs, and overpaid executives. The only way the Big 3 automakers are going to learn what Americans want and demand in a car/truck is to let them go under and eat their own arrogance.

  • ...and if the Chevy Aveo crash-test-commercial was not-enough to convince those who are on-the-fence and still undecided... then maybe those Chevy drives did receive an unfortunate head injury... and must be stuck-on-stupid from the brain-trauma/concussion... and for them... it's Chevy-til-i-die... or until the next-time that they will hit their head against the steering-wheel... and will pretend to believe that the air-bag will save them... hmmm... maybe for the ex-wife?

  • lets remember how greedy-parasites and corporate-termites will continue to make big money in a tough-economy and in a cut-through-recession... becase there will always be money to be made... and especially in todays day and time... becase YOU TOO can run your own company in to the ground... and then hopefully receive a huge government bail-out... courtesy of the patriotic-tax-payer... who will blindly continue to shell-out his hard-earned paycheck to support the image of the red-white-and-blue!

  • and lets remember that Billion gets mixed up with Trillion... and vice-versa... so I woulnd NOT be surprised if the actual-dollar-amount-on-the-price-is-right-is... 18,000,000,000,000 and zero-cents... becase this is how news reporting works... the same way as in the other video where Mr. Rumsfeld was unjustly-accused-of mismanaging a small and tiny and little "2.3TRL" ...hmmm... unjustly-accused an American-hero... hmmm... how dare they! ...becase Mr. Rumsfeld is the good-guy and a role-model!

  • When O bailed out GM and Chrysler, the media should have reported that his shitty-union base was bailed out also. But that would take honesty on the part of the media.........

  • "CHEVY RUNS DEEP" in the taxpayers pocket

  • Try blaming the unions. Let these fuckers fail.

  • Sad, since GM is a global company and America got stuck with the bill...

Time to start hanging politicians in the town square like our fore-fathers would of done!

  • the americans are really good on digits, creating big numbers day after day, lol

  • We are all GM stockholders now, except the government did not give the shareholders (us taxpayers) ownership of the shares, so we won't get dividends. Instead, we get to pay the interest on the money the government used to bail them out! Our imperialist leaders are acting like kings, and calling all the shots. Maybe my congressman would like to buy my shares. I can put the money toward a new Mahindra pickup truck, that gets 32 MPG and costs 40% less than those bloated 4x4 Detroit hogs.

  • NEW YORK -- A solution to the world's urban transportation problems could lie in two wheels not four, according to executives for General Motors Corp. and Segway Inc.
