Again I do like the shadow-work in this level.
2:24 Well that was a damn fast recovery from wheezing flesh beast to peak condition vampire in one minute flat, he didn't even need a blood snack.
When Janos says they were godlike I think he meant to say they were God's chosen people or something like that, I put it down to the shoddy research of the team who put this game together.
Janos Audron ladies and gentlemen, master of random, pointless body gestures. Which is more annoying his wing waving or Umah's arm waving?
7:00 Janos is very up on current events, how the hell does he know about Sanctuary and Vorador, he even knows exactly where they are. I suppose he could know all about Kain because The Hylden Lord gloated about his plot at some point but I doubt he overheard everything about the cabal from his captors.

Just to clear it up - The Sarafan Lord (AKA the Hylden General, AKA the Dark Entity) is the same being that possessed Mortanius and set into motion all of the events of Blood Omen 1. To understand better you need to play (or watch) Defiance. The events of this game are caused by the events of Defiance.

To clarify further. Kain changed history at the end of SR2 by saving Raziel from the Reaver, Raziel is therefor free to complete his quest to save Janos. Raziel retrieves Janos' heart (the heart of darkness) from where it is hidden and resurrects Janos. When Kain makes the decision to damn the pillars the dimensional barriers were weakened enough to allow the Hylden Lord to possess Janos, as Janos he flies to the Hylden city and opens the gate to allow his physical body through, he then imprisons Janos in the Device and uses his blood to feed the Mass. The Hylden spend the next 200 years building up their forces in secret as the newly resurrected Sarafan order before defeating Kain and his army, another 200 years later on and here we are.

2:24 Where did Janos find clothes?

With all the plot holes surrounding his character in this game, I wonder if the developers threw Janos in at the last minute. He posesses knowledge that should have otherwise been unavailable to him, yet he offers no explanation as to how he obtained it, nor is he questioned about it.

And yes, his wing waving annoys me. When he is having a conversation, he beats his wings for no reason, yet when he encounters the Hylden Lord, he barely utilizes them!
