Well Windows 7 preview copy RC2 has been released by Microsoft. You can also get a version on Torrents. But the one by Microsoft expires June 2010. That gives you more than enough time to evaluate it before you buy it. I think this is a good move by Microsoft as they realise that customers who bought vista will not be very happy to shell out yet another load of cash for what is nothing more than a bug fix. Windows 7 seems to be a far better tweaked version of Windows Vista. In fact I think Vista was half complete just like ME was before XP. Microsoft should realy have charged far less for Vista and given people the option to upgrade to 7 for a small fee when it was released. Instead they were greedy and charged full price for Windows Vista and now will charge 3/4 of the price for the upgrade and they wonder why their is piracey. In short WIndows 7 is what Vista should have been.

  • HELP ME YOUTUBERS, I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER 2.6. EVERTIME I PUT MUSIC/AUDIO. IT WILL SUDDENLY FREEZE and says (not responding) Please me to this problem.

  • @ramsglad it sounds like a memory or registry problem. Download ccleaner from download dot com and run it. Remember rendering anything takes up a hell of a lot of memory so close down any programs you do not use. Also things will run faster if you come off the net and render then come back on after.

  • Go to more settings then its the second option keep on increasing the megabyes until it can go no more. You should therefore get HD. I also use Camtasia in order to record into Mp4 and do full HD

  • hi do you know with windows movie maker 2.6 is it possible to convert a format to full hd.

  • Yes it is and you can set it to do a variety of formats just click on more options when you go to save movie. I normally find that LAN 2 meg is adequate

  • You can run both Windows Movie Maker 2.6 and Windows Movie Maker 6 on Windows 7. I have installed both 2.6 and Windows Movie Maker 6 on Windows 7. And they are running without any problems. Windows Vista users can also run 2.6 alongside Windows Movie Maker 6. Andrea Borman.
