Why not? They've blamed everyone else.
Former top Obama Economic Adviser Austan Goolsbee blamed "earthquakes, tsunamis, revolutions in the Middle East, financial crisis and now we even have earthquakes outside of Washington DC" for the failed Obama economic record.

  • His statement on earthquakes was referencing the one in Japan in March, 2011. He mentioned the one in DC as an aside, not as a point comparable to his previous words.

  • actually he didn't. if you watch the rest of the "interview", goolsbee hands it to hannity. absolutely. pay fcking attention.

  • Hannity is a goose...period!

  • God save this nation from our Socialist bastard president.

  • Winners accept responsibility. Losers make excuses.

  • Hannity owned this fool. Why are all of Obama's economic advisers resigning?

  • I think you guys mistook his statements. If you actually followed up on the economic consequences of revolutions in ME, trade from the tsunamis, and the very real financial crisis in Europe, Goolsbee makes sense. So the earthquake and hurricane blaming game wasn't necessarily the correct thing to say, but you guys seriously make so little sense.

  • This just in - Hurricane Irene is Bush's fault!

  • I am glad Obama does not know my name. He could blame me for bad eonomy :-)

  • Wait, I know, the hurricane Irene is to blame for Obama's bad economy! LOL!
