I can't remember if it was the 12 or the 18 year Dewar's that I had that just blew me away at how much better it was than the White, which I find to be very water tasting.

Ralfy, I am a bourbon lover who is looking to give scotch whiskey a try. I'm wondering if this Dewars 12yo would be a good one to try out? Looking at reviews online I'm thinking that it has a good flavor profile that I'd enjoy and would be a good scotch whiskey start. Many thanks,
